The Party Committee held a special lecture on studying the report of the 19th National Congress

In order to deeply understand the spirit of the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and accurately grasp the essence of the report, on the afternoon of March 1, the Group invited Shen Liang, the Distinguished Professor of the “Jiangsu Lecture Hall” , to give a special lecture on Adhering to and Developing Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in a New Era. All party members, activists and key employees of the our company attended the lecture. Wu Yao, of the Theory Section of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee.

Professor Shen focused on the in-depth interpretation and analysis of the contents of the report on the 19th National Congress in three aspects: “New Era”, “New Thought” and “New Journey”, and elaborated the scientific connotation and guidelines of adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era with eight “clear-cut” and seven “insistences”, guiding everyone to have a deeper understanding of the spirit of the 19th National Congress from a strategic perspective and in simple terms. Professor Shen particularly emphasized the importance and necessity of Party building for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. If we want to win a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and embark on a new journey of building a modern country in all respects, we must put Party building first, govern the Party strictly in all respects, arm the whole Party with the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and strengthen the construction of grass-roots organizations. This requires Party organizations at all levels to fully recognize their important role and sacred responsibilities, actively promote political, ideological, organizational, disciplinary and style building, and regard building a Party that the masses wholeheartedly support as the highest pursuit.

A few days ago, the Group’s Party Committee asked all branches to carefully study the contents of the lecture with feelings and responsibilities, to take the promotion and implementation of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party as the primary political task at present and for a long time to come, to take the spirit of the 19th National Congress as the criterion, to integrate thought with practice, and to shine on the post with a more full spirit and work enthusiasm.
